The Folkuniversitetet Study Association conducts popular education and adult education throughout Sweden. Our idea is to provide people with the conditions for a richer life through knowledge and creativity. Knowledge changes. Responsibilities:

• Teaching, preparation, planning, and follow-up work. Participate in development work as agreed.

• Quality work by engaging with expectations before the course and evaluations after the course ends.

• Participant contacts between lessons related to course content, e.g., preparations or homework.

Qualifications:

Circle leaders at Folkuniversitetet should have:

• Pedagogical experience.

• Subject knowledge/work experience in the subject.

• Preferably experience and an active interest in adult education.

• Basic IT skills.

Your language level in the teaching language should be equivalent to that of a native speaker, and we prefer that you have a relevant academic degree. Desired personal qualities include the willingness and ability to work independently as well as in a group, good social skills, initiative, a positive attitude towards change and development, and an ethical approach.

Folkuniversitetet in Södertälje-Sörmland offers open course activities in languages. We continuously work to develop our course offerings and would like to connect with you who can work with adult education in a circle format, a few hours per week - evenings teaching English.
